Welcome to "Outside, Looking In... & Memory Matters"

"Outside, Looking In" is an art quilt exhibit, born in 2023, that was created to increase mental health awareness in our community.

It has since grown to 19(+1) quilts 
& is currently on display

in the art gallery at

Urbandale Public Library

April 15th - June 1st, 2024.

The opening will be on Sunday May 5th at 1pm (cst).

The idea for this project arose from conversations on creative wellbeing and the art quilt process that I utilize as a hobby & self-care, and teach to others. 

The installation includes personally constructed art quilts (machine-pieced and quilted) along with educational information on mental health diagnoses.  Although it's not all-inclusive, I aim to add value with resources to enhance well-being overall. A few pieces may be up for sale after the show is complete.
